Don't buy the home
“I bought a Fleetwood home in 2002,I called every day and they kept saying they couldn't find where I was to get wood cabinet's thru out,well I found the paper stating I was.Oh the thing's I have found,What a shame because this is my last home and they new it. When I contacted Fleetwood they told me they went bankrupt.They kept promising to fix everything.The man I bought it off told me he told them,they were doing me wrong.He left his job there.What a shame to pay cash and them promise it would be done right to never be.I have thought about going on Three on your side,on tv new's station to keep someone else from being a sucker to trust them.” -

Southern Colonel Homes Inc “My sales representative was very nice. That being said, I bought a furnished unit in February, 2008. It is now August. I have yet to receive all of my furnishings after an extraordinarily huge amount of calls. It was like pulling teeth to get the furniture that I have. I have almost received it all but it was a terrible and unnecessary ordeal. Now I have got a water leak in the second bathroom which is leaking all over the bathroom floor and into an adjoining bedroom. It has been over a week since I called and told the manager of this problem and he advised me that he would have someone out to my home that afternoon or the next day. It is now day 10. I am a widow with 4 boys and I feel like I am being ignored and definitely lied to. I have heard I will get the rest of your furniture to you before the week is up till I could just get sick. Now are they going to live up to the 1 year warranty? There is so much more that I could add but it would take up too much time and space so if you have any questions about my experience please feel free to email me and I will answer any questions that you might want to ask. Service after the sale - not happening.”
