  “i recently closed on a mobile home sold to me by TIM who knows little to nothing about the process and will tell you anything to get you off the phone or out of his office. We had to overnight a form 3 times to the lender because Tim filled the wrong form out at the closing. Tim at first said we would get a factory model which is what we wanted and we got the lot model instead. Then when they finally delivered the home it sat in the rain for 7 days now and i have called 3 times now waiting for dates on the siding and trim with no reply.They say the PARTICLE BOARD is water resistant which is false and even if it was they do not care that I don't want it rained on. The contractor they used to set it up did not even wrap it in plastic. They say they will call you back and then say it will be done in two weeks every time. This entire process has been a nightmare and is still ongoing. Once they sell you your house they will do little to nothing for you. Please for your sake do not buy a home from gene jim and roy westgate.”

  “Last Saturday, my sister and I visited Westgate and the mobile homes are really nice but the customer service was poor. We went inside the office to talk to the saleperson which at the time we realized he was either in the restroom or in another office. We heard him moving stuff around, then humming, and finally silence. We really think he feel asleep in the bathroom. After saying hello like four or five different times opening and closing the door loud and holding about a 30 minute coversation with my sister we decided to leave. The saleperson never came out the office or restroom the whole time we were there in the office. I just couldn't beleive this guy. How can you sale anything if you are sleeping on job?”

  “I am currently purchasing a home from them... my parents purchase a home from them 30+ years ago and to this day we are renting the home and it is in good condition. On the other hand, my brother recently purchased a home from them as well including a few of my neighbors... These people seem to be a good group of people with great products. You'll have to experience it for yourself besides they can't win over everybody, but they still try and do a fantastic job at it. :)”

  “i bought my house a year ago and i have never had any problems with my house if i had a question they have answered it and i got a break down on the bills and a copy of every bill from the contractors. i would buy from them again i have sent 3 people to matt and he has taken care of all of them. and what does it mattter that matt is 26 and the company is 49 years old. steven never said that matt was the one who opened the business he said they have been in business for 49 years so redo your math. and why don't you work at the company anymore. i have nothing but great things to say about westgate and their employees.”

  “I agree. Run away as fast as you can. We purchased a home from these guys in Oct 2008 and had it moved in the dark which was illegal in late Dec because they had no idea how to order it and had no one following up on everything. Your right they take your money and am very happy to spend it quickly. Now we are moved in and wanted what funds were left over returned to us. They said they never returned money. They never kept a record of expenses and we gave them more than enough to pay for the purchase plus what needed to be done to the property. They told us we had no money coming back to us and when we asked for a final expense record of what was spent they refused that also. O ya and we finally moved in on Feb 1st. And it was delivered in late Dec. Yep they never could get the guys to come and finish the interior and set it up. We waited long enought and when we started yelling they got the job done. But if we hadn't I do not know when we would have moved it. Again these guys will tell you one thing and sit back and laugh at you.”

  “I've just recently purchased a mobile home from Gene Jim and Roy and it has been an complete nightmare. First of all everytime I talked to my sell's person his story would change and he would need more money. I've have to sign paperwork over and over because..... I don't even know and they can't explain why. These people are very incompetent and charged me for things they can't even explain. But you better believe they know how to cash your checks promptly but when it comes to service, accuracy, and integrity there rating should be a 0. Run Run
